My airplants

I like to collect airplants when I see one, and recently I bought two type for my collection. One I think is call "Tillandsias Caput Medusae", is one of the most widespread and hardy specie. It can tolerates poor conditions and neglect better than most other airplants species.
The floral bracts are often a strikingly cherry to blood red. The amount of sun light which the floral clumps receive plays an important part in the color of the bloom spikes.

Above is another type call "Tillsndsia-plagiotropica", this plant which really does not like dry air and high temperatures, we should maintain their moisture by mist them once or twice a week or submerge them for a couple of hours every two weeks during the warmer period.
